Identity and Nature of the Service
The Global Factbook is the Principality of Kaharagia's official reference compendium of states, territories, flags, codes, and related geographic and political information. It is maintained for the convenience of officials, the public, and external parties seeking the State's reference information on these matters.
Authoritative Status of Diplomatic Statements
Where the Global Factbook contains a Recognition Statement, including any statement as to whether the Principality of Kaharagia recognises a particular state, government, or claim of sovereignty or territorial extent, that statement reflects the position of the Principality as of the date of the relevant entry.
Diplomatic recognition is a sovereign act. Recognition Statements may be updated, modified, or withdrawn at any time without notice and without obligation to provide reasons. The current version of the Service is authoritative as to the State's reference position; previous versions are superseded.
Reference data on flags, codes, and other technical attributes is published for convenience and is not a substitute for primary diplomatic or international-law sources.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms in their entirety.
Governing Law, Sovereignty, and Jurisdiction
Applicable Law
These Terms, the Service, and all matters arising from or relating to their interpretation, application, or use are governed exclusively and in all respects by the laws of the Principality of Kaharagia.
Technical Hosting and Foreign Legal Assertions
The Service is technically hosted on infrastructure located in the Federal Republic of Germany, and the associated domain name is registered through a registrar situated in the Federal Republic of Germany. These arrangements do not constitute consent or submission to any foreign jurisdiction and do not alter the exclusive jurisdiction of Kaharagia over the Service.
Diplomatic Salience and Non-Justiciability
Recognition Statements and related diplomatic content are matters of sovereign discretion. They:
- Are not subject to any external legal challenge through this Service;
- Do not give rise to any right, claim, or cause of action against the Principality of Kaharagia by any state, entity, or person;
- Do not constitute a representation as to the legal status, validity, or effect of any matter under the law of any foreign jurisdiction.
Disagreements with the State's stated diplomatic position should be addressed through ordinary diplomatic channels.

Service Availability and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The State does not warrant uninterrupted operation, freedom from error, or that any entry is current as of the moment of access.
To the fullest extent permitted by Kaharagian law, the State shall not be liable for any damages arising from reliance upon the Service for any specific legal, diplomatic, or commercial purpose.
Data Protection and Privacy
The processing of personal data through the Service is governed by Kaharagian data protection law and by the Global Factbook Privacy Notice.
