Place an order on the Kaharagia Shop
The Kaharagia Official Shop is the official outlet for state-related items, ceremonial goods, regalia accessories, publications, and other authorised merchandise. This page walks through placing an order.
You don't need an account to browse. Checkout supports both guest checkout and signed-in account checkout.
Browsing the catalogue
Reach the catalogue from the homepage or directly at shop.kaharagia.org/catalogue. Each product page shows:
- The item's name, description, and price
- Images
- Availability and (where applicable) variants such as size or colour
- Shipping information
- Any restrictions (some items may not be available to certain regions)
Click Add to cart to put an item in your cart, then continue browsing or proceed to checkout.
Reviewing your cart
The cart page (/cart) shows everything you've added, with:
- Item names, quantities, prices, and the running subtotal
- Estimated shipping (where calculable from your stored address)
- An update-quantity / remove control on each line
- A button to proceed to checkout
You can leave items in the cart and come back later (cart contents persist for the session, longer if you have an account).
Checkout
Reach checkout from the cart, or directly at /checkout.
Step 1. Contact and shipping
Provide:
- Email for order confirmation and delivery updates
- Shipping address: name, street, city, postcode, country
- (Optional) Telephone for the carrier in case of delivery questions
If you have an account and addresses on file, you can pick a stored address.
Step 2. Shipping method
Choose from the methods available to your destination. Each method shows the carrier, the estimated delivery time, and the cost.
For international destinations, the available methods depend on the destination country and the items in your order. Some items may have shipping restrictions; the checkout will tell you if so.
Step 3. Payment
Payment is processed by Stripe. You'll be presented with a card-entry field directly on the checkout page (and any payment options available in your region. Stripe may also offer wallets such as Apple Pay or Google Pay where supported).
The Shop does not receive or store your full card number, expiry, or CVC. Card details go straight to Stripe; the Shop receives only a token, the last four digits, and the transaction reference necessary for order management and refunds.
Step 4. Review and place order
Confirm the order summary, items, shipping, total, and place the order. You'll be redirected to a confirmation page (/checkout/success) and receive an email confirmation.
If something goes wrong with payment, you'll be redirected to /checkout/cancelled and your cart will be preserved so you can try again.
After you order
- Order confirmation: email arrives immediately with your order code
- Order accepted: once the order is confirmed and payment is captured, the order is in the fulfilment queue
- Dispatch: when the items are dispatched, you receive a dispatch notification with the tracking number where applicable
- Delivery: delivery happens through the chosen carrier; tracking lets you follow progress
For tracking and managing the order after placement, see Track a Shop order.
Account vs. guest checkout
You can check out as a guest (no account) or sign in with a Shop account. Account checkout offers:
- Stored addresses and payment methods (card token only, full card data still goes to Stripe)
- Order history visible at /account
- Faster repeat checkout
The Shop account is separate from your K-Connect account for the rest of the State. You can have a Shop account without a K-Connect account, and vice versa.
International shipping, customs, and duties
Where items ship outside the Principality of Kaharagia or its territorial domains, the recipient is responsible for any import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, and other charges imposed by the destination jurisdiction.
The Shop does not act as importer of record and does not provide customs brokerage. If a parcel is held by customs for duties, the recipient must engage with the destination customs authority directly.
The Shop accepts no responsibility for goods seized, returned, or destroyed by customs authorities.
Pricing and currency
Prices are displayed in the currencies offered at checkout. The currency you are charged is the currency you select. Foreign-exchange or card-network conversion costs imposed by your bank or card issuer (where the charge currency differs from your card currency) are your responsibility.
When the State accepts your order
Display of an item on the Shop is an invitation to treat, not an offer. Your submission of an order is an offer to purchase. A binding contract of sale is formed only when the State accepts the order, which acceptance is signified by dispatch of the goods or by formal confirmation of acceptance, whichever is earlier.
The State may decline an order in whole or in part for any lawful reason. Where an order is declined after payment has been taken, payment is refunded in full.
For the full legal terms, see Shop Terms of Sale.
Common questions
- "My payment was declined." Stripe will tell you the broad reason (insufficient funds, card not authorised for international, etc.). Check with your bank if the reason is unclear.
- "I don't see shipping to my country." Some destinations or items aren't supported. The catalogue page for each item indicates where it can ship.
- "Can I order on behalf of someone else?" Yes, provide the recipient's name and address as the shipping details. The order is placed in your account.
- "Can I edit an order after placing it?" Limited, you can request changes immediately after placing through the support channel, but once dispatched the order cannot be modified.
- "Where do receipts come from?" The order confirmation email is your receipt. You can also re-download it from your order page.
