Make a donation to Káhareži Fondazár

Káhareži Fondazár (legal name KAHARAZI VONDACIJA) is a Michigan 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 88-2274879) that supports Kaharagian culture, language, and education.

The Foundation is a separate legal entity from the Principality of Kaharagia: it is incorporated under United States law. Donations are processed by Stripe and are tax-deductible under US federal law to the extent permitted by law.

How to donate

  1. Go to fondazar.org and choose Support our work (or the equivalent donation link).
  2. Choose an amount, or enter a custom amount.
  3. Choose whether the donation is one-time or recurring.
  4. If you wish to designate the donation for a particular Foundation programme, select it.
  5. Enter your name and email so the Foundation can send you a receipt.
  6. Enter your payment-card details. These go directly to Stripe; the Foundation does not receive or store your full card number.
  7. Submit. You will receive an on-screen confirmation and a receipt by email.

Tax deductibility

Contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible under Section 170 of the US Internal Revenue Code, to the extent allowed by law. The deductibility of any specific contribution depends on your individual tax situation; the Foundation cannot give tax advice.

For donations of $250 or more, you will receive a written acknowledgement that satisfies the substantiation requirements of IRC §170(f)(8). For donations of any amount, an itemised receipt is provided by email; you may request an additional written acknowledgement if needed.

Other ways to give

The Foundation may accept some or all of the following, depending on your circumstances:

  • One-time and recurring credit/debit-card donations: the standard channel via Stripe
  • Bank transfer (ACH): for larger or recurring donations; contact the Foundation
  • Donor-advised funds (DAFs): your DAF advisor can recommend a grant to KAHARAZI VONDACIJA, EIN 88-2274879
  • Employer matching gifts: many US employers will match a charitable donation; provide your matching-gift portal with the Foundation's EIN
  • Bequests in a will or trust: sample language: "I give to KAHARAZI VONDACIJA (EIN 88-2274879), a Michigan nonprofit corporation, [amount or share] for its general charitable purposes."

If you are interested in a method of giving not listed here, contact the Foundation.

Refunds

Donations are generally not refundable, except in cases of clear processing error or as required by law or by Stripe's chargeback procedures. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact the Foundation promptly through fondazar.org/contact.

Donor privacy

The Foundation does not publish donor names or amounts without your prior consent. Donor records are held by the Foundation and may appear in IRS Form 990 filings (Schedule B, generally not subject to public disclosure) as required for substantial contributors.

For full detail, see the Káhareži Fondazár Privacy Notice.

What your donation does

The Foundation supports Kaharagian culture and education, the living culture of Kaharagia, a self-declared nation open to all. Specific programmes and projects are described on fondazar.org.

A note on the relationship

The Foundation supports Kaharagian culture but is not the Principality of Kaharagia. Donations to the Foundation are received by the Foundation, accounted for under US 501(c)(3) rules, and used for the Foundation's charitable purposes. The Foundation is not a tax of the State, a fee for any State service, or a payment to the Crown.

Conversely, paying for State services through Kaharagian channels (such as fees in the ePortal, where applicable) is unrelated to donating to the Foundation and does not produce a US tax-deductible donation.
