Your dashboard
When you log in to the ePortal you land on your dashboard. It is the home base from which everything else is reachable.
What you'll see
The dashboard is laid out in cards. Depending on what you've done before and your verification level, you may see some or all of:
- Your status panel: a summary of who you are in the State's records (name, nationality status, ID-card status). New accounts will see an "unverified" state until identity is verified.
- Recent activity: the last few actions on your record, with links to the relevant pages
- Open requests: applications and petitions you have submitted that are still being processed
- Inbox preview: the latest messages from the State, with the count of unread items
- Quick actions: buttons for the most common tasks (apply for an ID card, register a vital event, etc.)
- Programme cards: entries for State programmes you are part of (most prominently Lifeblood Kaharagia, if you are a registered donor)
- Notices: announcements from the State that are relevant to you
If most of these are empty on first login, that is expected. They populate as you use the ePortal.
Navigation
The header is constant across the ePortal:
- Logo / dashboard link: top-left, returns you here
- Main navigation: the principal sections (services, documents, inbox, account, etc.)
- Search (if available), find a service or page by name
- Account menu: top-right, with links to your profile, account security, and sign-out
The footer carries links to the legal documents (ePortal Terms, Privacy Notice), the contact channel, and the system status page.
What's available depends on verification
A new, unverified account sees a limited dashboard:
- The status panel will indicate that identity verification is needed
- Quick actions will be limited to those that don't require verified identity (such as applying for verification itself, contacting the State, or browsing public information)
- Programme cards and document panels will be empty
Once verification is complete, the full set of services becomes available. See Verify your identity for what's involved.
Returning to the dashboard
You can always return to the dashboard by clicking the logo in the header, or by going to eportal.kaharagia.org/dashboard. Bookmarking the dashboard URL is a convenient way to land back at home base.
Common questions
- "My dashboard looks different from someone else's." That's expected. The dashboard adapts to your status, your verification level, and the State programmes you are enrolled in.
- "I see a service in the directory but no card on my dashboard." Some services don't get dedicated dashboard cards; reach them through the services directory.
- "A panel says 'pending review'." That means a request you've submitted is being processed. See Tracking requests.
