Section titled “Governance”The Principality of Kaharagia is a constitutional monarchy. Sovereign authority rests with the Crown; day-to-day administration is conducted by Offices of State, each with a defined remit.
The Crown
Section titled “The Crown”His Royal Highness The Prince of Kaharagia is the Sovereign and the head of state. The Sovereign confers nationality, approves identity cards, signs acts of state, and confers Distinctions in the Honours system.
The Royal Court
Section titled “The Royal Court”The Royal Court is the immediate office of the Sovereign and includes the Royal Chancellery and the Secretariat of H.R.H. The Prince. Correspondence with the Royal Court is handled at addresses in the rc.kaharagia.org domain.

Offices of State
Section titled “Offices of State”Day-to-day government is conducted by Offices of State. Each office has its own mailbox in the state.kaharagia.org domain — for a full directory see Get in touch.
The principal offices most nationals interact with are:
- Office of Nationality & Naturalisation — petitions for nationality, vital records, and registration.
- Office of Digital Government & Cybersecurity — the National ePortal and digital services.
- Office of Diplomatic & Consular Services — travel registration and consular advisories.
- Secretariat of State — the central coordinating office.
The Honours Chancellery
Section titled “The Honours Chancellery”The Chancellery of the Royal Kaharagian Honours is a distinct institution, addressed in the hc.kaharagia.org domain. It administers the Honours system on behalf of the Sovereign — see the Honours section for details.
How decisions become law
Section titled “How decisions become law”- A draft is prepared by the responsible Office of State.
- It is reviewed by the Office of Legal Affairs.
- The Sovereign signs the act.
- It is gazetted in the Royal Kaharagian Gazette — promulgation in the Gazette is the moment an act takes legal effect.
- The codified version (where applicable) is updated in KaháLex.
