Your first login to ePortal
The ePortal is the administrative front door of the Principality. This page walks through what you'll see the first time you log in.
Logging in
- Go to eportal.kaharagia.org.
- Choose Sign in: you will be redirected to K-Connect.
- Enter your K-Connect email and password. If you have a second factor configured, you will be prompted for it.
- After successful authentication, you will be redirected back to the ePortal landing page.
If you have not yet created a K-Connect account, see Create a K-Connect account.
What you'll see on the landing page
The ePortal landing page is your dashboard. Depending on your status and what you have done before, you may see:
- Your services: the services available to you given your current verification level. New accounts will see a more limited set; verified accounts see more.
- Your record: a summary of the personal information held about you in the relevant Kaharagian register. New accounts will see only the information you've entered.
- Recent activity: recent decisions, communications, or status changes affecting your record.
- Notices: announcements from the State that are relevant to you.
If most of these are empty on first login, that is expected. Activity accumulates as you use the system.
What to do first
If you are new and want to make use of the ePortal, the natural first step is identity verification. See Verify your identity for what's involved.
Once verified, you can begin to use the substantive services, applying for documents, registering matters of civil status, accessing programmes such as Lifeblood Kaharagia (the donor-recognition programme, served at eportal.kaharagia.org/lifeblood), and so on.
Account security on first login
Your first login is a good time to review your account security:
- Confirm your email address is one you control reliably
- Set up at least one second factor if you haven't (TOTP authenticator app, WebAuthn key, or email one-time code)
- Save your recovery codes somewhere safe (a password manager or printed copy)
Account-security settings are managed from K-Connect, accessible from the menu in the ePortal header.
Logging out and sessions
When you are done, choose Sign out from the account menu. K-Connect will end your session.
If you forget to sign out, sessions expire automatically after a period of inactivity. You can also sign out of all other devices from your K-Connect security settings if you suspect your account has been used elsewhere.
What the ePortal does and does not do
The ePortal is the digital interface through which you transact with the State. Submitting a form through the ePortal is, in effect, submitting it to the relevant Kaharagian institution.
What the ePortal does not do:
- Make substantive decisions on its own. Those are made by the relevant institution and may take time
- Confer status, rights, or recognition by the act of submission alone
- Replace, supersede, or substitute for your own legal status under the law of any country of which you are a national or resident
For the legal terms governing use of the ePortal, see the ePortal Terms of Service and ePortal Privacy Notice.
If something doesn't work
The most common issues on first login:
- You're redirected back to the login screen repeatedly. This is usually a cookie or third-party-cookie blocker. Try in a different browser or in a private window with cookies allowed for the State's domains.
- You can't see services you expect. Some services require verified identity or a particular status; see Verify your identity.
- You see information that looks wrong. Use the record-correction option in the ePortal to flag the issue. The relevant institution will review.
